October 17, 2009 Gunpowder River

With the weather forecast calling for 100% rain, a high of 43 degrees, and 25 mph gusts, the tournament was almost called off.  But instead, 4 boats launched at 7:15am to fish in the worst of the storm.  The water temperature dropped from 52 to 47 degrees throughout this abbreviated 5 hour tournament.  It rained the whole time.  The sun almost came out for a moment, but was quickly covered up by more rain clouds.  Only two people caught fish.  Tom caught 3 fish including lunker, while William caught one.  Tom zoned in on the suspended bass on the banks to take the win for this tournament.
