We had 6 boats launch
from Flying Point at about 5:30 am. Conditions were clear and calm with
low tide at the launching. The
water was stained by rain the night before. It proved to be a long, hot day for
some of us except for Tom and Mark who found the bass on the mats. Between them, they managed to bring
9 fish to the weigh in. Tom
ended up winning his first tournament of the year with 5 bass and a
4.05 pound lunker. Bill H. came
in 2nd followed by Mark with 4 fish a piece.
