The day started off with ominous red skies, but the myth proved
to be false as everyone who fished the tourney caught fish. It was cool, overcast, and the tide
was going out when 4 boats started the tournament. Tom’s boat once again
dominated, filling the boat with 10 bass. Tom indicated they happened on the
spot where most of their bass came from by accident; the grass mat had
not been fished by him before and was a stroke of luck that it produced
numbers. At the weigh in, Mark
prevailed as he trumped his boater, Tom, to win Lunker,
and the tournament. Tom came in
2nd place, with Mike showing 3rd place with 4
fish. Billy caught a beautiful
muskellunge. Too bad it didn’t
count.
