May 22, 2010 – Conowingo Reservoir

Four boats fished the 3rd tournament of the season.  At the 5:30am launch, the water was 2 feet low and still receding, but came back up to normal levels during the day after the dam gates were shutoff.  The bass were on the banks and were hitting on crankbaits, senkos, and tubes.  Due to lake regulations, no bass can be put in a livewell for a weigh in during the spawn.  The bass had to be measured and compared to a conversion chart for weight. Billy won the tournament with a calculated weight of 12lbs.  New comer Dan took 2nd place, and Mark came in 3rd.  Tom ended up with the lunker for the day with a 17 ¼ inch bass.
